Ted Knight grew up in Terryville, Connecticut, a neighbor to my grandmother. He began his television career at WTEN in Albany, New York – the same station where I later had my first job. What follows is what my family kept, what the station let me borrow, and what I have managed to track down since.

  Terryville’s bicentennial parade, with Knight as grand marshal, and the testimonial dinner that followed – sold out three months in advance.
